Balancing shampoo was created to meet the needs of rapidly oily hair and sensitive scalp. After application, hair is refreshed and bouncy at the roots. With regular use, the scalp becomes less oily and is soothed, as a result, hair gains freshness and shine. It is recommended to use 2-3 times a week.

Mokosza Shampoo is based on plant-based detergents, whose cleansing power in this shampoo was chosen to effectively cleanse the hair and scalp of excess oil, but without disturbing its delicate balance.

The Roots series was inspired by the tradition of herbalism and the rich history of Slavic roots. The shampoo's name derives from the Slavic goddess of summer and harvest, goddess of Fate and fertility, and weaver-goddess Mokosha. The name symbolizes the wet, warm earth that gives birth to the richness of life.

In the recipe of the shampoo we used extracts from ancient Slavic herbs, flowers and fruits such as poppy seeds, mint, birch bark and rosemary leaf, which help restore the proper balance of the scalp. Among other things, they regulate sebum secretion and refresh the skin and hair.

The formula is enriched with amethyst extract, which is called the “stone of happiness and spirituality”.
It consists mainly of silicon, which is a key element for hair.

The ROOTS series is not only excellent hair care products. It's also an invitation to a magical world where every drop hides good energies, revitalizing the bond with nature and ancestral traditions.

Poppy seeds

The flowering poppy is a beautiful element of Slavic meadows. In Slavic folk tradition, the poppy was a plant that allowed one to cross the boundary between life and death. A plant of rebirth of the life forces of nature, but also of abundance.

Birch bark

Birch was considered the tree of life. Symbol of life, eternity and wisdom. A symbol of Mother Earth. It was attributed to her magical powers. Moreover, according to various legends, it was the birch broom that allowed witches to reach Bald Mountain.

Rosemary

The Story of the Slavic Goddess

On the Niva Źrzebu grows very interesting plants, giving soothsayers visions with their juices. There is a Poppy Field, Hemp Field, Flax Field and Mint Field. In addition to spiders, winged wolves, hedgehogs and owls live here...

It was like this. Mokosh really wanted a Przetak, or sieve, which she needed for sprinkling and straining the dregs of the mokos, the mokos spiders of Banska Meadow. Lado had been secretly courting her for some time and tried to lure her to various places without success. This was not easy, for the goddess, herself very jealous of her husband, gave Ład a strong rebuff. Cocoha's jealousy, without any reason, was well known, and so great that the goddess never left even her daughter Dodola alone with Makosh...

A good idea came to the Tangle, to whom Łado confided his predicament. The cunning Tangle put a price on her advice. She made an agreement with Lado that he would give her ownership of the most valuable thing he possessed on the first nine days after fulfilling his lust. She instructed the god to tell Mokosha that Przepłat would weave for her a sieve as strong and beautiful as his Web, which he made from a wicker. However, she must personally receive the gift in the Enchanted Cave in the Stolp Mountains. There she will lure Mokosz and Lado will be able to satisfy his lusts.

Payment easily convinced her husband to fulfill the order. Both of them wanted Mokosz to have a shuffle entangling nieci, tangling a row of things. No one could weave like Przepląt, so Mokosz, having heard the wonderful news, went to the cave. The usually taciturn Intertangle greeted her very warmly, but his face darkened when he saw that the goddess had brought with her a weaving osier and refused to move from over his head as she worked. That's when Tangle stepped in and brought Lad into the cave. Lad threw himself on top of Mokosz, embracing her with a hundred arms and kissing her, talking nice silly things until he turned her head. Mokosz then succumbed to Lad in one of the darkest corners of the Magic Cave. The interloper took advantage of the goddess's inattention and managed to weave a lot of vicuña into Przetak instead of osier.
